Accessibility

We strive to make our websites accessible in accordance with the national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council. The legal basis for this is the Barrierefreie-Websites-Gesetz (BfWebG) and the Saxon Inclusion Act (SächsInklusG).

Status of compliance with the requirements

Accessibility is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at conformity level AA and the European standard EN 301 549. Our websites are only partially accessible due to the incompatibilities and exceptions listed below in accordance with the above-mentioned guidelines.

  • Links can be incomprehensible.
  • Not all integrated documents are available in an accessible form.
  • The position of the keyboard focus is not always clearly visible.
  • Contrasts of buttons are sometimes insufficient.
  • ARIA attributes for orientation and navigation are not fully available.
  • The website does not offer any services in simple language or sign language.
